You might enjoy hearing some things being said by or about men who are Growing through REACH Ministries.
First, a young wife whose husband, Matt, is being mentored by an older Christian man in REACH said to Matt, “I want to meet this man you’re getting together with! When you come home, you always have a better attitude!”
Tim is a military pilot who attends the monthly Men of Valor dinner and study sponsored by REACH. “I feel free!” he said one night after taking steps to resolve a long-held sin problem. That spiritual freedom resulted in Tim being motivated to say to friends, “Come join me at next month’s Men of Valor meeting.” They came and are still coming and are now inviting others.
Gene stood up after a Men of Valor meeting and generously said, “Every first-time guest from now on will get dinner free! Men, you can invite as many guests as you want to!” The number of attendees increased the following month and has continued to climb.
Another spiritually growing man in a small group heard encouraging words from his wife. She said, “I don’t know what you guys are studying in that group but keep it up. It’s working.”
The final thing to be said of men involved in REACH Ministries is in Proverbs 27:17, which says, “Just as iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”
